Anyone have any recipes I can whip up using Flourescent Green Chartreuse X2 or Flourescent Orange X2?

I make 4 ounce batches and use about 8 drops of colorant for each color. I like giving the colors some depth using hi lites. The X2 green can use some gold or green hi lite. The orange I like gold hi lite. You don't want to use a ton of hi lite, just enough to create some surface sheen.

Thanks I will order in some gold. I have a bunch of green tho so I will mix in some green with the fluorescent green chartreuse X2. I just wanted something to give it a boost I don't think glitter would work to good in fluorescent colors but never thought about mixing hi litre in.

Hi lite can be a visual game changer in plastic baits. It works in all plastics too....transparents, semi-transparent and opaque and solid colors. Unlike pearl, which is a close relative, hi lite works on the surface and in even small amounts is almost instantly visible. Great stuff. If you want to make a mind blowing hot pink, add blue hi lite to it.

Yeah lol think im going to whip up 4 oz of green here in a few minutes. I bet that would look really nice that hot pink and blue hi lite. I haven't got the chance to try X2 hot pink yet but keep looking for it to come back in stock quite often.

This one take a bunch of drops to get a crisp color, but is a dandy for adding blue hi lite to. It stays very transparent and the blue makes this hot pink sit up and bark. https://www.ispikeit.com/product/262/hot-pink-111

Thanks I think I will go head and order some of that. While im at it any other changeable colors does spike it have besides chameleon? Figure might as well go ahead and get a few good colors.

Most of the good changeable colors are bleeders regardless of vendor but they can do a good job if mixed not quite as strong to use along with fluorescent tail colors or laminates and are used within a couple weeks. There are times crappies here will go nuts over a changeable for a short period of time, usually due to particular water conditions relating to high water or water dirtied by run off or algae blooms and I will cook up a small batch and make several different bait styles with tail colors to use short term.
I think MF has a better selection and I think MF offers a slightly stronger colorant than Spike-it which means fewer drops per batch. Snoop around both sites before spending. The changeable colors are fun and unique colorants especially if you keep them transparent.

All im seeing that is listed as changeable is Motor Oil and Violet Grape. Have you ever used any of that Violet Grape? and how good is the MF Flourescent pink ? You have me hooked on that Motor Oil lol. Thanks again for your help.

The violet grape is the same as chameleon. The hot pink takes a lot of drops and then isn't really what I'd call bright.

Holy cow has MF ever cut their color line-up. Copperhead and cutthroat trout were always changeable. Blue crawfish is changeable and makes a nicesmoky blue color.

Okay I will buy the Flourescent Pink from spike it and just do another order from MF.Ever tried Spike it changeable Motor Oil?Or is it pretty much the same turn out as the MF Motor Oil? I wonder how good that cutthroat trout looks ?I guess its hard to tell from the picture they provide. I like that changeable colors stuff. I dont see the blue crawfish either but will just buy some Cutthroat trout hopefully I will like it and the fish. Thanks

Here's MF Cutthroat Trout. Its got copper hi lite in there but my camera's filter nixes it. Its a medium strength color. This bait shown is 40 drops per 4 ounces of plastic. This color makes real natural looking baits. I like it.

That looks like a good color almost a amber looking. I guess it probably be best to order a big bottle of that that is a lot of drops but i like it. Would any glitter look good in Cutthroat Trout or just the Copper Hi lites? and where would I pick up some Copper Hi lites?Thank you
