3/0 medium wire extra wide and round gap BN hooks for fishing under a slip cork for Specks and Reds.
I am planning on tying these using the shrimp pattern with barred rabbit and getting the eyes up close to the hook eye leaving just a bit of the head exposed. They should offer an extra slow drop and there is enough room to tie in a mono weed guard. Worth a try...

Looks like a killer combo. With the rabbit, they should dang near float.
-
Good stuff here.

I need to tie up a few in both x lg bead chain and the floating plastic eyes. The bead chain may be needed to get them down if there is any current. The 1/8 heads pictured sank a bit too fast.

VERY Nice! That's a 3/0 38109?
-
It is the 38109. It will be the first time I use it for inshore and salt. I think it will work well for the application vs the 2X and 3X.

Very nice

The largest bead eyes that I have fit over the head leaving plenty of room for a mono weed guard if I want.

I tied a few up using floating and bead eyes and with or without antenna to wet test sink rates and profile in the AM.

Those eyes just "make" this bait. Cool.

I love it. I know it's for salt fish, but I'm guessing a small mouth wouldn't mind thumping that.

Da's awesome Bruh. Put dat under a Cark.

A more natural color with estaz instead of legs.

WwwAAAT! Whisker Weedguards! KIL. LER.
-
Haha I didn't notice the weed guards till I read BKJ's post. And it is killer.
-
A thicker cut 3/8 chinchilla with a 1/8 belly that works well under the popping cork.

Nice your making me want to switch my mood from plastic to tying. Awesome job.
-
A 1/16th belly weight on a stainless 2/0. It is a bit light in the current or retrieving under a cork but a nice slow drop with the current. I have caught a few undersized just testing them.
