I do the Irwins for most all of my injecting. Once in a while I clamp up in the bench vise [gently] if I need more stability.

Lamar,do you have a link to the ones your using ? Andrew thought about getting that also but trying to think where id be able to mount it.  Lines is that a wood working vice ?Kind of thought about ordering one of those. Thank you all for the help and input

Yes it is. Woodworking vise. You can make pads for the insides of the vise jaws so you'll have a protective layer if you like. It works on all of the molds I have. As Andy stated, sprue holes on the horizontal sides. This is the one I bought, but there are many others just like it.

After watching one of "That Guy Skimpy" videos where he was using a table top bench Vise I went out and bought  one like this:

I like the vice idea my self. I asked for a small vice for Christmas for when we venture into those types of molds in the near future.
