Thought you might be interested in the response I got after inquiring status of order.

Your order is fished and poisoned. I think very soon you will get it. Thank you!

LOL!

I don't deal with baitmold, rather another Eastern European maker, takes me2 months from order. 1 to make and 1 in shipping. Takes 2 weeks just to get out of Russia!

The one thing about baitmold is he will copy any bait. No problem with patents in Russia!

If you see the mold you want on the website, it means he has at least one in stock and will ship out within a week, then another 2-3 weeks depending on shipping time.
I had to wait about a month, or a little more, for a particular mold I wanted but was not on his 'for sale' site.
At least this has been my experience with 4 or 5 orders.

How do the "artificial stone" molds compare to the aluminum molds? do they still work alright?

I have ordered from baitmold on three different occasions.  The first two took 28 days from the date of order.  The third one took 30 so basically a month.  They shoot easily and well the only real difference in technique is you have to lubricate the molds every 5th injection or so.  As I shoot baits solely for myself I don't consider that a big deal but I could see where it would be if I was selling them.  Well Tom beat me to the punch, but yeah, what he said
I find it incredible that I have to explain to a grown American citizen that taking a knee during the National Anthem is disrespectful.

All of my molds have very fine ribbing and I use either a shot of wd-40 on both sides or I use a small thin hobby paintbrush and worm oil....but very darned little oil in he brush.

CRC 3-36 is the best lubricant for any mold I've found and it's easy to apply.

So does the lubricant just give you better pours then? or just keeps your mold easy to open and close?

The baits come out of the molds much easier when you use some kind of lubricant.

Also helps the molds to fill. A lot of his molds are very small or have small legs etc. I've been wondering if on our alumiun molds that are hard to fill if brushing some worm oil on them would help? I've never tried it, just a idea.
