Son playing in hockey championship
« on: 03/12/18 21:13 UTC »
I almost want to post this in the prayer requests but won’t do that. Lol My middle son A.J.’s Hockey team just clinched a spot in the league championship game Thursday night. Very exciting this team started the season 0-4 and then turned it around and started beating up on everybody except the team we play Thursday and they are yet to beat them but if the boys play Thursday like they did tonight they have a chance. A.J. Is excited he has never finished better than 3rd and the team he was on last year finished last.

Thank you guys. I found out last night our head coach is going to be in Tennessee and we will not have him tomorrow night. Hopefully the boys will rally around the assistant coach and pull it out if not it will still be a fantastic season none the less.

The boys played really well tonight but the the other team was just a little bit better. We couldn’t quite pull it off. AJ played pretty well proud none the less.

So true WW I had to remind him of last year when he only won 2 games. He get to move up a division next season because of his age to a division that is more physical they get to beat and bang on each other a little more. That suits his game a a little more so I think good things are on the horizon

That's good. Protect those teeth.

Weird things happen on hockey ice. A buddy's kid got high sticked just about the time another kid launched the puck and while his head was tossed way back the puck nailed him straight on in the adam's apple. Just about had a funeral on that one and the kid was recovering for several months. What's even crazier is that the state doesn't ever get natural ice even. The kid's chances of getting bit by a scorpion or rattlesnake were better than this happening to him. Weird.

It can be a rough game. Austin played in 3 hockey games his first season and got 2 concussions. We yanked him out and he has never been back. A.J. Has taken a few pucks and sticks to body but nothing more than a bruise. he has been playing for 4 years. AJ also thinks blocking pucks with his body is fun so I think the hostility suits him
