or spend 5 min to make a few from common household items (0.015$/ea)

I buy mine at Walmart for $.05 each.
They don't shed and work great.
If those homeade ones shed then the frustration alone makes buying them so worth it!
At that price it isn't worth my time making an inferior brush myself at home to save $.02 or $.03

Cool idea oir   when I need a few I will make some like that.  I can shorten or leave them longer as needed.   I think they will work well for powder.                   Keep at it there are some here that appreciate innovation.

  That's what I was thinking too. Plus to me I like making things I use. Just like my own baits.
