Very nice ! Did you tie a wire to that hook before you poured it ?
I like the person I have become. I am not going to live forever, but while I am still here, I will not waste time lamenting what could have been, or worrying about what will be.

Thanks guys. I just leave a piece of .035 stainless wire hanging out of the mold I modified and tie a loop in the wire after I slide the blade on the wire. I bend the wire around a good ol small craftsman screwdriver. It is super easy and virtually indestructible. Be sure to tape over the blade with painters tape before you paint. I put my screwdriver in a bench vise to hold it too. Hope this helps. I can post a close up if you need to get a better look.

Tightlines and God Bless

My first musky chatters were made this way using the ultra minnow head and .043 wire.  I think the thinner wire gives better vibration.

That hook looks like a straight eye spinnerbait hook?

The hook I use in those chatterbaits are straight shank round bend worm hooks. Owner makes a good wide straight worm hook and trokar has a good one too if you have extra money to burn on them. The wire is big factor on the vibration. With a wire loop the bait can swing a lot more then on a hook eye that restricts the side to side action
