perch bug
« on: 12/22/15 17:17 UTC »
I don't have to work, the river is crazy high and there isn't any fishable ice in a few hundred miles. While I wait for my trip to  South Dakota on the 27th of Dec I have been creating.  This should work great as a baby perch imitator when ever I get to go ice fishing.  Its a #14 tcm 2457 scud hook,  with a 4mm tungsten bead some small wire, deer hair and some small plastic mono eyes.

Thanks for all the great comments. I really enjoy doing this real small stuff for some reason. I just like seeing what I can come up with. Here's a pic of it on a dime to give everyone a good idea of the size. This kind of stuff works fantastic for pan fish and trout.

I already do some of this but I seriously need an eye transplant to do some of this micro stuff.
