Outdoor pouring

After reading "A close call" I thought I would share my own close call while pouring lead. Several years ago I had my pouring station temporarily set up on the back patio which is exposed to the elements except for a metal roof. As I was pouring late one evening I hadn't noticed a large moth that was attracted to the light above my head. The moth decided to take a nose dive into the lead pot which resulted in a violent explosion of the lead and moth. The lead went straight up and actually stuck to the metal roof above my head. I was wearing gloves and glasses and felt extremely lucky to not get any lead on my face. That was the last time I used the patio for pouring lead. Beware of kamikaze moths!!

Big Fat Moth = UnSuspected Chunk of WATER...YIKES!

There's Truly Few Perfect Sciences, other than Math (when performed correctly).  We, as Fisherman and Tackle Crafters have maintained quite a Gorgeous Track Record in terms of Safety, even more-so when You compare us/it Across the Board.

We got a Good Thing Going.  We're not perfect, shtuff does happen...but we Do-It Right.

You made me smile through both your lyrics and general memories of my more wooly days... I listened to anything from classical to rap (as long as it wasn't the ignorant type) and everything in between... (even Henry Mancini like Tom listens to)... my ears are more important to me than to most people and I love music of all kinds.   

I'm not sure I understand exactly what you were inquiring about, were you thinking of bustin' some rhymes for an extra income?  If so, there was a group called The Hula Poppers in the 80s that did a fishing cover of "Rawhide" (that I might still have the record for) and if they could any one can.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mhV_vee1wcA
