rough swimbait vid
« on: 05/13/16 21:54 UTC »
havent had a chance to get the other edited yet but i did manage a quick underwater vid showing the wobble of the body with the tail kick. the slowmotion really captures it. the water clarity coulda been a little clearer but its decent

I like the movement too. That side to side roll adds more action in addition to the foot. The Swim Ripper does that too. What head do you like, Dobs?

Ive tried the SK squadron itll work but can be kind of a pain the push past the lead on the hook shank. the best one ive found is a STC Recon head. it has a atrong 6/0 hook thats encased in a coil keeper. you thread your bait on then twist it putting the bait under the hook then completing the turn.youll do this twice but your swimbait cant pull off or ride down the hook

Its a well designed deal. theyre 4.99-5.99 per 2ct depending on 6/0 or 7/0 hook but theyre worth every penny

If I had that mold, everything that came out of it would look like 3 miles of dirt road. Yours look like they jumped right out of the water, Dobs.
