I sort of figured it would have to be a larger volume mold to work worth beans. Nice stuff there Mike.

Thanks guys. I'm pretty happy with it.  Tom I did try it on the mayfly also. It looks ok but not quite as good as the swimshad. I'll try to put a pic of the mayfly in the gallery tomorrow.

Good looking bait! That duel injector would work on the 5 and 6 inch swimbaits!

Not Super flashy? That is awesome. Really brings out the top color. That has to be a killer.

Gary I haven't tried the duel on the big swimbaits yet but it should work fine.  Should be able to make some cool baits with it. I do have a couple ideas I want to work on.

Ok lines the more I look at this bait the more i like it. I keep seeing more effects of the technique coming out in it. I'm getting some other color ideas for this.

That swim bait  is really a very natural looking bait. If you take a serious look at it the bait has depth that isn't stark and it has varying coloration that seems to blend back into itself. One reason I am not all that fussy about core lines is that I don't care for sharp, well-defined lines in my baits. If those lines and edges melt into one another, then the bait has what nature has handed us. That swim bait is amazing.

Using the twin injector on this particular shot is likely the reason you have such a perfect balance in the colors inside that bait.

When you were first talking about doing a twinjector core, I thought you were going to stutter the plungers to get a camouflaged look in the core, and that is why I suggested a fluorescent color with black, and of course I was thinking it would have been done in either a completely clear bait or one with very little color... not sure how well this would have worked anyway (because there just isn't a lot of plastic going into the cores), but keeping the plungers steady as you did here should also make for a good looking sexy core.

Thanks AP.  Efishnc I did think about that but think I need a bigger bait/core to get that too show. Maybe the 5" paddle tail?

Cool combo mike. Haven't got a chance to play with my core pins yet got them made. Been making a spline mod to fit the mold I picked up at get together .
May your days be filled with sun shine and you always have a tight line. AMEN

Yeah, maybe, if you made a larger core like I did on my sexy shad injection... (dang that sounds nasty)... the body is actually deceivingly thin which is why I specifically noted pushing the pin out the front (so as not to tear the tail)... BUT, the place I think the kind of twinjection I'm referring to would look most cool would be the Lake Fork Lizard!  That body has a lot of mass for a large core, and to have a long swirly tail would be a double shot of icing on the cake!   8)
