I received the mold yesterday but didn't have time to play with it until this morning. After running a couple injections of junk plastic thru the mold to warm it and the injector up I did a full mold of chartreuse to harvest tails and used half of the six to go with junebug. They turned out very nice. The welds are neat and strong. The tails seem to be a very nice thickness, not too thick.
I did notice with the warm up injections that the mold liked plastic at touch warmer and just a wee bit more injection pressure to completely fill the tail cavities but that may well have been due to the injector and mold being only about 50 degrees at start up. I settled on 365 as the injection temp for both plastics but as the summer warms us up [if we ever warm up] that temp may not be needed.
All told I'm happy with the mold and the baits shown here are headed to the tackle pail for a test run next Tuesday.
