A different way to hang plastic baits
« on: 02/21/21 04:02 UTC »
I don’t know that this method has been covered so if it has I apologize in advance. Rather than using boards with nails or having baking sheets laying about I have been using magnetic bars I picked up from Harbor Freight and sewing T-pins. I can either hang the runner from the pins or just stick them in the nose of the bait. I am able to adjust the spacing based on the bait/runner size, they’re compact so I can clamp one end to the shelves or hang from finishing nails on each end, and they’re easy to store out of the way when not in use. The bars are equally handy for doing a run of pouring/painting jig heads.

We've tossed around many different ideas, -bt, but nothing that I can remember with T-pins on a magnetic bar (very ingenious)... I'm already planning on making a similar set-up in my shop this spring.

Sorry to be posting on the board so much, but why do you hang the baits?

Saves space and keeps baits straight as they cure.
