Blue isn't a color I've paid much attention to but since it was a hot color for me trolling crankbaits this year I thought I would mess around with it a little bit. I have some ideas for this color down the road.

Blue is a great color I’ve had great success with

Purplescent is a hot color for walleye. Going to make some forktail and super stingers up with a purple back and chartruse belly. Also wondering about a laminate Icraw in this color? Also a good core shot in the Flippin Zip!
-
Purples have always good here but I've never fished any blue plastic in spite of having good luck on blue colored cranks through the years.

Great looking colors. What mold is that 2xl? Colors look transparent. Great job man
-
It's the 3.5" Swim Shad - original tail. I have caught a pile of walleyes and saugers on that bait.
Thanks. The color is transparent with some blue and black glitter in it. A friend of mine from upstate New York asked me to make a color akin to that for him and this was my first try. I'm sure it will need some tweaking to get it where he wants it but it's a start. I like it but will add more blue the next time I get around to messing with it.

You'll be making baits like that sooner than you think C.
I was hoping to try them out this morning but 18 degrees has me second guessing that plan. LOL

2 XL those are awesome looking I love em!

I love some blue baits, great color for flipping. I make a little twin tail grub like the strike king menace in a blue sapphire and absolutely wreck them with it. I think it has a lot to do with being both a different color, profile and action from the usual beaver style bait everyone else puts in front of them.

I have fished blue and white cranks for years and done good on them but never thought to try a blue and white plastic bait. Blue and white comes close to the 3-4" Sheephead that is a top forage fish for walleyes here. Time will tell.
Thanks Panel. You can make these too.

A blue Mann's Jelly worm was my favorite bass bait as a kid.
-
Fishing bass after a cold front with high clear skies. Always fished a silver bait with blue back.
