(...and dang, you beat me to my next planned core injection in honor of Dr. Seuss, the star-bellied leech... however I was still in the process of searching for a tiny cookie cutter, frosting nozzle or some other metal form to cut out my stars).

I gave some thought to doing this as an e-core. I have a couple ideas to try out that should be neat.

You didn't core the star?... huh, it looks like it to me. 

I'm pretty sure I'll still be doing stars in the future, but now I will have to up my game.  ;)

 I shot white, cut star out, shot blue around it.
