1/8 Poison Tail

I want to pour up some 1/8 poison tail jigs. I know that you can usually up size one hook size. Will the 2/0 hooks fit in this cavity too?

The mold appears to have enough room for the 2/0 hook but you may have to remove just a corner of the high spot on the mold at the bottom left corner and the eye pocket for the hook's eye may need to be enlarged slight. Shouldn't be an issue either way.

I use some 3/0 & 4/0 round bend hooks in that 1/8 oz cavity, but don't recall if I had to modify anything to do so. I've got away from using the wide gap hooks in that mold.

I tried some 3/0 but they hit that lower part of the mold but I could grind that off and open up the hook channel but I would be happy with 2/0 if it'll fit right in.

I've been pouring some VMC 7321BN 3/0 in 1/8 and 1/4 with the poison tail mold. 60 degree hooks will fit without modification.

I use the VMC 7216, which is a 30 degree bend hook.
