Standard hand sanitizer, Purell, GermX and the like, are all made with Ethyl Alcohol, but average 62%-70% alcohol and have more moisturizers/thickeners.
80% sanitizers like the NuGenTec don't have the higher content of thickeners so they will leave your hands or surfaces cleaner than standard, thick sanitizers, which has been a complaint of mine (sticky hands afterwards) since I started using hand sanitizer in 2014.
I keep a 12-ounce hand sanitizer pump bottle on me 100% of the time and refill it. Occasionally I have to buy a new one whenever the bottle fails in some way.
I use these pump bottles for the thinner, non-gel sanitizers as well.
If all you can get your hands on are the nicer pump bottles intended for lotion or hand soap, they're just as good, if not more reliable.
Home Depot and Lowe's (among others) carry those pump bottles around the "bathroom department".
I keep a loaded sanitizer pump holstered in a cargo pocket at all times. Just reach down and push down on the pump head into your hand.
