Here are a couple crawfish I sprayed up yesterday. Without the hooks, they are 3-1/2" in length including the bill.
They are done using the Do-It Air Brush paints. The orange bellies are the flame red that's been toned down using some sriracha sunfish and the watermelon green back color was browned down a bit with the crimson craw color. Made for some nice colors on the plastic. To top off the green clear with bronze hi lite was sprayed lightly over it and the result is a bait with some reflective value, but of course the camera's filters have nixed what it looks like.
These will be headed down to the river in maybe four weeks to fish rip rap that holds a ton of smallies.
