It was around 55 today. Spring is very slowly coming on. I caught this one and an 18 inch one and 8 two pounders. All on the ES beaver.

So there was no white stripe up the back of that black jacket, eh? lol Sounds like a nice day of fishing for spring.

Nice fish.  I have been back and forth on getting the ES Beaver or not.  Looks like I'll have to try and find one.

Lamar looks like a fun day. It’s great when the weather and the fish play nice.
Do you have a primary color or don’t they really care. For some resign no matter how I rig it I don’t seem to have that much luck with that bait but it could just be me and a confidants thing.
May your days be filled with sun shine and you always have a tight line. AMEN

The main color I used today was Lamar's Dirty Little Secret. Named by Denny. Or Reaction Innovation calls it Dirty Sanchez. It's a great spring time color. I like the beaver bug better because it has some meat in the head and doesn't tear up or ball up as bad. Plus it has a rib down the middle so your hook lays down in there nice and flat.
