Most lakes in Texas are in a post spawn pattern.  Fish can be caught in just about any depth of water and using whatever technique you want.  Plan on being flexible and let the fish tell you what and how they want it.

Jason are you around Lake Fork? Some family of mine was planning a trip there soon. I was trying to get a report. As for Toledo Bend, I can't buy a fish. Well, one that's bigger than 14".

Both our home and shop are on the water.  The fishing is very good.  The lake is down around 5 feet and the fish are pretty easy to find (deeper creeks), main lake drop offs, deep humps, fairly normal Summer pattern, it's just that the lower water has eliminated some areas making it easier to target.  Make sure and let me know if you head up this way.
