Tanks Bou'Cou, Fellas!
I cooked up this Head with many aspects in mind.
The Shad Head Jig (wire keeper) is killer with action baits, whether swim tail or curl tail, but sways with a straight bait, which isn't natural for a baitfish (in that degree). The Erie has a lot of inherent stability since the majority of its weight is hung low, and modified to pull at the nose should still produce zero sway with a straight bait because of the inherent stability.
Pulling at the nose will also shed sOme grass the line collects, much better than a head with the line-tie up top.
Pulling at the nose will also keep the head from digging bottom, which is a major plus when bouncing or dragging bottom...a Flounder's demise.
It won't be long nOw.
