Little fellas
« on: 05/08/24 15:28 UTC »
Here are a couple bright pumpkinseed lipless baits I sprayed up yesterday. Seems the crappies in our local lake have a taste for sunfish and pumpkinseed fry just about the same size as these guys are. So…. Gotta feed them what they like, eh?

If anything the brownish pattern needs to be slightly bolder. Otherwise I’m finding myself really liking these dudes.

I’m thinking that pattern will fish well. I’m interested to see what other species like the looks of too.

I'm finding out that putting details on these small baits is a pain.  Maybe "more challenging" is a better way of putting it. The little suckers sure do catch crappies though.
