On another forum I just ready that Tommy Skarlis passed away today. What a loss to Do-It as well as all those who knew him.

Truly a sad day for the entire fishing community and all who knew him.  Tommy made an impact on everyone he met.  All of us here at Do-it are grateful for his loyalty and friendship and he will be forever missed.

In all the photos with Tommy, all those around him were smiling. Tells you a lot about the man. God Bless his family.

RIP Tommy-Even though this reckneck has caught only one walleye, it was such a pleasure to watch you fish and share knowledge throughout  your career. May all the fish you catch in heaven be 10 lbers.

I didn’t know him but I’ve heard so much good about him. His loss will be felt by the whole fishing community.
