Title: A little crank paint for a buddy
Post by: MO QWACK on 10/30/14 20:26 UTC
Black hawk needed a little help with some blanks he bought, I hope you like buddy! Holographic blanks can be tricky to paint because to much paint and you loose the reflection but yet you still need to layer the paint for details but they look super sweet in the sun  :o they need to be cleared but I like the paint to sit for a couple days before clearing!

Very nice! Wish I could paint that good. Those stripes; are you using tape for those or a stencil?

Bee - U - Tiffle!  Very nice work Mo.  Once you get a clear coat on those they're gonna ROCK.

Master Drew's protege...  that's a bit frightening on a number of levels.   ::)

Thanks guys!  I use the least amount of stencils I can but...the stripes are tape.None  of the are the same I really like the random patterns and every bait is unique. If you cut stencils they really speed things up but no more than I make I try to free hand all I can

Thanks tom but I doubt that drew only teaches me stuff he is about to forget. He makes sure he stays about 5 steps ahead of me on my teaching. The Techniques  he does today he will teach me about 3 years from now. I also help him so for he is about to master double knotting his shoes and making sure his underwear tag is always in the back. Most days he is consistent. I never will forget the day he returned his spiderman underoos to wal mart because they forgot to put a wewee hole in them. I had to help the poor guy. Our first lesson was mr Spider-Man goes to the front the tag goes to the back :P

Lol thanks anytime you wanna give it a try let me know. I'll help in any way. It's very easy to do just takes time and patience but once you lean the ticks of the trade you can bust em out

:)   I'm pretty excited that you got the 'R' button on your keyboard working again.  The geek squad charges out the wazoo to fix 'R' buttons.  It's terrible.   :)

Jerry....the problem isn't a stuck button. Its Louisiana schools [bottom of the educational barrel] trying to teach Mo to spell. Consider this....Mo hunts ducks. That speaks volumes in and of itself.

G'mornin Mo! Why aren't you out in the fresh air?

Ya, but Mo also hunts deer, so it ain't all bad!

We know he goes to the woods, but has he actually shot a deer, thus earning himself the title "deer hunter"? Ya know Gary, the term "deer hunter" implies that he is still seeking a deer to shoot and I'll buy that. Now a deer killer? I've seen no evidence that proves he's been successful. There was a picture recently, but there were two people in it....which one shot the deer in the picture remains a mystery when the picture, in and of itself, is considered.

Mo....do you hunt deer or are you a killer?

When I was younger there was a time I had killed more deer with my truck than with a gun! :D But I've since got my muzzleloader kill up pass my truck!

Oh Tom I'm protecting the country all weekend against enemies foreign and domestic.... I've already been yelled at by security forces for try to steal a hornets nest I found on base! They suck but that's an "other" can of worms. As for the deer killing or ducks for that matter I'm no longer a killer at a stage in my life body count was  VERY important and I was VERRRY good at it! Now I don't kill many duck or deer if I need meat I'll kill it, if he has a lot of bone on his head I'll kill it but I enjoy scouting and sitting with other folks who haven't killed as many as I have. He smile on their face has replace the thrill of the kill for me. The last 4 years I've killed maybe 10 ducks, I enjoy watching others shoot and working my dog

Well about 4 inches. Parked between three trees and a clay rock bank.  It's all good drew fishes he's way out while I stuck my head in the water and walked the boat out with my hands.
