The "new" bat in full dress

Here's a shot showing the modded bat heads with appropriate sized plastics. At the top is one with a size 10 Lil Nasty hook with the smaller of the Wax Wigglers and two body segments removed. Almost immediately under that one is the same hook size wearing an Ice Tickler. To the right of the smaller hooked head is a size 8 Lil Nasty threaded with the larger of the Wax Wigglers with one body segment removed. These plastics really balance out the 1/16 heads, which will be obviously lighter with the lead collar and the wire keep missing.

The modded cavity in the mold left the hook eye recess open and a quick snip with lead snips got rid of any flash at that point and a flat jeweler's file took care of any edge left from the snips.

Quite honestly, these are not any larger, save for the hooks, than an Mooska-type of jig head of similar weight and unlike the hooks found in those European and Diamond style heads, these are quality. Maybe dot some white eyes in the recesses and call them ready to battle with the panfish, eh?

I'm sure those would nail the panfish through the ice.
And you're right many of the marmooska jigs on the market have pretty crappy hooks.
It really sucks when you're on a hot bite and snap off a hook on a jig that's really catching well.
