Update: I have been very blessed to have had the assistance from Jimmy bell and a lot of other friends, but in recent agreement, decided to give him and them a little break and try to put it in my "own words. Here are some of the facts and"statististics"of what is going on: first of all, I want to thank you all and the fishing industry for the outpouring of love, prayers and support. If I am an inspiration it is due to you and Christ What I refer to as "the foundation " Mayo has given me a tentative release date of may 22nd. That's when we will move me back home to
Tackle Independent living. From removing the brain tumor ( a grade 4 gleoblastoma, my left leg and left hand/ arm are extremely weak. Now its just about rehab and trying to reconnect the brain and muscles nerves etc. I will need to learn how to function with a wheel chair as well as adapt the house, cabin, kitchen, baths, etc. For living with disabilities, but right now, I consider them to be temporary. As my dear friend Rhonda Reeve and I use the term: "the new normal" the easiest tournaments to win have always been the tough bites. Optomistically, I look forward to this new mission from God and all the fun that is going to come along with the opportunity to serve. I feel that God blesses us all with talents and skill sets so that we can serve him by serving others. One of life's great tragedies is when we fail to serve others. Please let me know what I can do for you. The go fund me has been invaluable and quite a blessing please continue to give to others that need. Also, please pray for everyone.a lot of people have been asking about chemo and radiation. they are both options at this point. These tumors growback, and have been labeled as not curable but they are treatable. Statistically, Average term of life after resection/removing surgery is 18 to 24 months but I believe Christ is far from average and he and I have agreed that if he can create just the puny little Mississippi river system, he can heal me with a wink from his eye. It is that confidence that keeps me faithful and obedient. It has been the foundation of my being. My existence. May God continue to bless us all. Please Choose love, keep the prayers and questions coming, I will try to share more soon.

Thanks for the update and prayers will continue. I have a friend that had a tumor attached to a muscle behind his ear and had as much of it removed as they could and did the treatments. And has been clear for three years. Hope that things continue to improve for Tommy and family.
