« on: 04/20/19 19:50 UTC »
Every weekend I’ve been ready to fish but the water has been fishable during the week and unfishable on the weekend today I went to the lake thing the high water would push them into the bay but three different bait’s  without a bump. Over dressed for morning temps. By 83:0 am I had to change so it wasn’t so hot.the Dells is at 49725 cfs and Sauk is at 50275 cfs.

That high water has its challenges for sure.
There are good ships
and wood ships
ships that sail the sea
but the best ships are friendships
and may they
always be ......An Irish Toast

This is what Blackhawk park campground looks like... the boat launch kiosk is in the distance with the interpretive center to the left and RV electrical pedestals to the right... the first crest (two weeks ago) would have gone over the dike had the sand bags not stopped it, but now the water is back on the rise with the most recent forecast (taking the rain into account) topping off a couple inches higher than the previous crest... if the water breaches the dike, it will fill the maintenance shop and yard (six feet below the top of the dike) and create a mess I really don't want to have to deal with.
