Major Skarlis update

Major update: last report from mayo is that resection surgery removed over 95% of the tumor. We start radiation next week combined with chemotherapy to hammer the tumor to keep it from growing back. (These tumors are expected to grow back, its like pulling a box elder stump. The roots remain. But the radiation is focused to knock down all of the small ends. We will be driving to Rochester every day for 6 weeks. Then after that I get to ring the same exact bell as Jim Carroll! So far all news has been best case scenario. Please keep praying! Its working! I'm home now and enjoying time with family and friends. blessed to have christ managing the team! Jesus strong! Even got to enjoy lunch with Joe from Al's Specialty Marine. Time to start playing with my lures! Please keep praying, its working! Always focus on the positive!

That's some amazing news for sure. Stay strong Tommy and keep the Lord on your list. My Prayers continue for you and your family and for Jesus to find a way to trump this insidious stuff. Have great Memorial Weekend Tommy. Today is a beaut and tomorrow is supposed to be a repeat. Carole and I had lunch on the patio in the sun this morning and we're doing dinner there in a couple hours. Its great to be alive.
