Can you riddle me this?

I have another specialty core in the making, and I'm announcing it before the reveal to see if anybody wants to toss out some guesses as to what it might be... as a hint, it will be connected to five of the six threads I started last year and two of my threads from this year.

(Cue the Jeopardy music).

Although I could lure sarge out of his cave with the bat signal, that is not my upcoming surprise core... HOWEVER... just like the bat signal, this playful core needs more than one shape to make it complete.

Hint #3: Like the Celtic swimmers, I am making this next core festive in its colors... the base color for it truly needs to be white because I am following a well recognized pattern (and don't want to deviate from it).   Any guesses on what this might be?

Although it won't be a flag, you have two of the three colors correct.

An Easter egg core patterned bait would indeed be festive (as well as novel), but that is not it.  As another hint, I will mention that the colors in my core are a little "scrambled".

Well, a jigsaw puzzle would put me in the loony bin... but as far as scrambled, think of color patterns and shapes that are commonly mixed.

My upcoming work incorporates aspects from virtually every other core that I've done, but one might look at my last four cores to get the biggest hints for this crazy new design... and perhaps a better descriptor than scrambled for this core might be intermixed (but I was playing off of the Easter egg suggestion when I said it was 'scrambled').

I was purposely cryptic in my clues because I simply didn't want to give away the surprise design before its time... well, all trickery aside, NOW it's time!
