Hi,
looking for a smaller version of the shad spoon, I bought this mold just out of curiosity. First drop and three lifts from the jetty in front of my shop hooked the first legal sized brown trout I`ve seen since spring,

which I find rather promising. It doesn`t look like much but has an interesting action and very good casting performance.
Is there anyone here who uses this mold? I`m mostly curious if there is a difference in orientation as in the buzz bomb which has a front and a rear end. I also would like to know how it performs on rainbows. The small shad spoon is very effective on larger rainbow escapees here in the baltic sea. Picture shows tins from the smallest cavity in compare to the shad spoon. Most of them already run-through variants with 1,5mm fly tubing inserts and 7239 VMC Spinner Hooks flexed onto swivels and solid rings.
