For years I've went back 'n forth on the idea of Copper blades.
My mainstay is Gold, and almost 100% Hildebrandt Willow.
I have some Hildebrandt Nickel Willow, Gold and Nickel Colorado, and a few Gold Indiana.
Some Clear Plastic Ghost Blades, and a few very small options of "Black Nickel" Indiana.
I wear a 1/4" wide, 16" long solid Copper link chain around my neck. It's not a choker. It's more of a Collar.
Some know I'm an Ammo Guy. Also, most of my cookware is All-Clad Copper Core. I'm familiar with Copper 😁
I've pondered Copper blades to run with spinnerbaits usually colored along the lines of the various colors of many genre of Sunfish and the like, whether Bluegill, "Goggle-Eye", Warmouth, Chinquapin (Red Ear), etc....
When it occurred to me that Copper blades will patina, especially through repeated handling, I was convinced I had to take advantage of the nature of Copper, yet again.
Once Copper patinas it loses almost all of it's shine, turns Brown, until it's polished.
Let this sink in.
