I'm trying to figure out how the paint doesn't blend together when it hits the lead. I tried something similar with black and chartreuse and I got a weid shad of olive like a funky type of mustard color. What kind of paint are you using that it stays separated?

HLS powder paint is small balls and not the light flakes to dip jigs in.
if you want to use air it must be from a compressor as it has more hectopascal to drive the air through it.
Aquarium air pump does not have enough air pressure for this type of powder.

is possible for multiple colors mixed
less dust from it

Yeah, I figured it was a specific type of powder. As I mentioned previously, I tried to get the same effect with regular powder paint and I did it using vibration. It was a lab style vibration plate and I didn't use air but even with just enough heat to make the powder stick it would still just blend together when cured. I tried to heat it to where it would fully gloss after dipping and the same thing, I got a blended color instead of two separate colors. I think on your video you should probably note that you are using a special type of powder paint that doesn't blend together. I really like that finish, a lot of possibilities with it and I learned something, I never knew that type of powder exisited. So 1 last question, do you need to cure that powder and if so is there any special way of doing it or is it just bake a specific temp for a set amount of time? Thanks for helping.

but it is strong and this brand smell a bit if you cure it.

I did some searching around and got a lot of info on that stuff. It really isn't paint, it is more like a colored plastic and you don't cure it. They are little spheres of plastic which is why the colors don't blend together, totally different than powder paint.
