Back order I'm assuming.  I don't know I wish they would get the bat jig back in stock and the crappie fluke.

From what I've read covid and state/local mandates are limiting many folks from working still. Supplies that businesses need are not getting delivered or shipped in many cases in a timely manner, so folks like Do It are behind in their production.

It's all being blamed on covid, but frankly I doubt all of it is really covid, that's just the excuse being used.

Heck, supplies for us small lure makers are getting crazy for many things, can't get them, because no one has them in stock.

We have no real limits here in SC, except local ones. The state has lifted any they had made, but cities & towns still have some. Much of that is politics. The town here still has a mask mandate and businesses are requiring folks to wear masks to enter, but for the most part, it's not affecting the majority of folks. We don't have Police stopping church services and other ridiculous things like that going on that we read or hear about in other places.

Things are slowly getting back to some normalcy, but it's still going to take a lot more time for that to happen everywhere in the country and some folks will still be crying Wolf with this whole thing.

I'm sure that Do It is trying to produce whatever they can.

The company is back-logged big time due to the virus. All of their sources are backed up as well.

We are low on inventory and behind on production like we have never been in the history of the company.  Everyone has had to deal with Covid and supply chain issues.  Like most other outdoor hobbies, fishing participation is up 30% to 40% nationwide.  We have seen plenty of new people getting into the tacklecraft gig too.

Right or wrong, we have chosen to focus manufacturing on our most popular models and mixing in some of the others.  Our folks are working extremely hard, and we are keeping our heads down trying to get as much product out the door as possible.  It will be several months until we can get back to a comfortable inventory position.   For decades, we have been able to flex up to meet the demands of our customers.  These times are really making us stretch, but our people are up for the challenge.

We greatly appreciate everyone's support and patience.

Everything is jammed up right now. For example, it took almost 3 months for buck knives to repair and return a 3 blade pocket knife to me. Want new living room furniture?  The wait time is 3-6 months. Looking for new flooring and need more than what’s on the showroom floor?  It will be July-August before it gets delivered. So it’s every where. Another thought as mentioned by do it corp is the amount of new comers to tackle crafting and fishing in general. Christmas always brings in some people to the game and I suspect increases sales. Now add to that the guys who have been around for a while stuck at home with free time to make. I know I’m guilty as I put in several orders ahead of Christmas just to avoid being without. This will work itself out with time.

Try ordering a new boat. Alumacraft has been 6 months and are just now thinking about producing a boat I ordered in October.
The dealer told me the other day that most of the 2021 orders will not be delivered until possibly mid 2022 or later. A new Mercury 30hp tiller model is 6 to 8 months out if it has to be ordered.
P.S. Mark me down as "sick of covid".

We repair power tools as a living.
One of the largest power tool companies in the US has a delay time of 2 months from the day I place an order then 1-2 weeks for delivery.
Just today got parts in from orders back in August.
Just got 8 tools today that were at another factory owned service center since last Sept.
Speaking of buying a new Alumacraft boat most are not aware that Alumacraft is owned by Bombardier/BRP who also by the way "owned" Evinrude/Johnson.
Evinrude/Johnson has gone out of business and is no more, and Alumacraft now has to go to other companies for boat motors.
Our local Lund dealer told me the other day for all intents they are not getting any Lunds this year!
Just glad my son and I bought a used Lund last year.
Everything is just a bit upside down and folks need to slow down and be patient!

I was at the Ranger dealer near me last week and he had very few boats to show. He said customer orders get done first and show room boats get on hold. And if you want to buy some new Humminbird graphs then good luck. Most are out of stock.

It's probably all industries, but it seems like the fishing industry has suffered extremely.

We are just glad you're still here and making molds!!! That said, I'm guessing that new spinnerbait mold I've been hoping for isn't going to be coming for some time...LOL!!!

This is when the above and beyond service in the past pay’s off and the majority the people on this forum are loyal. For those that have been out to the plant it amazing just how fast the order time to delivery is unreal. Brothers and sisters out there are all able to stay healthy I know your doing every thing you can on every day you walk in the plant
