Welcome to the Do-It forums Chr43 !

Do-It has nothing in a true round head with eye sockets so I'll just take a stab at an eye of between 2.5 and 3 mm. The Do-It Aspirin head and the Free-style head, each a flattened round head, both use eyes of 2.0 to 2.5 mm in all sizes to 1/2 ounce. What mold does the questioned head come from?

Welcome to custombaits.com Chr43. I see where you're coming from. The cast item detail does not give the eye size needed. One of the DO-IT crew will have to help us out here. Description calls for a 3D eye, but gives no size requirement. They will help for sure.

You're right. I see it in the online catalog but the new paper catalog doesn't list it specifically line the online version does. I checked the head size and looked at the socket and will stand by the 2.5mm to 3mm eyes. A 4mm might also work.

It should work okay for the size of soft plastics you are asking about. 3" may be a little small, but it would depend on the diameter of the grub body.

That mold uses 2 sizes of eyes, 5/32" and 1/4". The 3/8oz size takes a 1/4".  For 5/32" it would be 4mm size 2.5 and the 1/4" would be 6mm size 4.

I have a couple of those molds in the various weights. The collar is fine for plastics, but the single lead barb loses it's grip quickly. I don't use them too much for plastics, but you might consider a modification and adding a wire keeper too and the end of the collar lead, and opposite the lead barb. Particularly for larger baits.

I would use the WB800 wire.
