All of these type sprays will probably work about the same.  ;) Canola oil can take more heat. Many other lubes have a low flash point that I'm not comfortable with.

Didn't make it to town today, but did shoot some plastic. We had an aerosol can of Best Choice virgin olive oil. One small spritz into the injector is all it takes to make the injectors smooth as silk. Thank you 21xdc, that was a great suggestion that really works. I'll still pick up a can of spray at Aldi and see if it works the same, or maybe better.

The ease of a spray that takes 400* easily works great for me. I bump the spray right through the injector hole... It takes so little, cheap, easy to find anywhere, and so fast it just makes sense. I actually use the Aldi brand. $2.75
We need a few things from Aldi. Might head there tomorrow and pick some up. The spray seems like a great idea. Canola oil has to be a fish attractant as well, right? :)

Just spray the smallest bump of the trigger and you are good to go. No need to get messy.

Thanks 21xdc, I'll give this a try.
This is the lube I used that helped:

Worm oil for me, also. Can’t imagine why your injector is sticky especially with the new orings. Did you shoot any abrasives before?
No, no abrasives, just plastisol.

General Discussion / Best Oil for Injectors

Hello everyone,
Due to health issues, my injectors have been sidelined for about a year. Now that I'm getting back into the swing of things, I got them out to start shooting a few baits again. They were very stiff, so I cleaned them up and lubed the with worm oil. The first few shots were okay, but they both started sticking again. I replaced the o-rings in both and it didn't help. I then used some synthetic oil, Super Lube, and it seems to be working really well. I plan to shoot more in the next few days, so I hope that solved the problem.
Do you guys have a special oil you could recommend? Worm oil has always worked well in the past. Maybe my injectors need a good polishing inside. Thoughts?
