Long shank jig hook
Canga~:
I’m loling for a high quality long shank jig hook, just got my 3.75” angling ai hammer swimbait mold and the hooks I use in my normal jigs (and also in the 2.75” little hammer) will be too short to be effective. Something with a super sharp needle style point, preferably. I don’t want to go with eagle claw, as I’m sure someone will tell me how they have changed, but I’m not a fan of any of their hooks.

I think I would look for a long shank spinnerbait hook and use the correct size/length sinker insert or figure8/connector link and mold together.

For a lighter wire, 90-degree, long-shank Jig Hook, I like Mustad 32831. Barlow's only has 4/0 left, looks like.
For one with a little more Backbone, VMC Barbarian. Barbarian 3/0 are nice hooks, lots of applications, and probably just about right for that 3.75" bait.
Be careful if/when jumping up to the 4/0 because the 4/0 is MUCH bigger than the 3/0.
This is the Barbarian 3/0...

For a 3.75" bait just use a 3/0 unless you want a smaller hook. If you want to use a smaller gap hook like a 2/0 then you can use a VMC 7247 which is a long shank version of the 7147. I use an Owner 5318 3/0 to fish a 3.75" swimbait on both a 1/16oz and 1/8oz ball head and now the 1/8oz Freestyle head.
