Crappie fishing revisited
« on: 09/18/22 19:10 UTC »
Got out today to chase the crappie again. This round I was testing out some hair jigs that I’ve been practicing tying. Water was around 72° and most fish were in the 10’-12’ range. Orange/lime seemed to be the preferred color. My poor marabou tail jig got wore smack out. I ended up with around 20 for the day and another catfish came to play.

Spankin' specks is always a good time... and the fall bite is coming on!
