Reversed skirt tube

Has any one Stuck the head in the tail and the hook point out the front so it like a skirted jig with out a tail.i will probably give it a much faster fall but a totally look on the way up with the skirt flailed .

I have not tried it, but it could be just the ticket at times.  My mental image would be similar to a fly called the Reversed Spider.  It works very well in moving water for trout.

Back in the 70's I use to put a twin tail on the jig hook and then put the tube on the regular way. Looked a lot like a crawfish and the twin tail created a air pocket up towards the front of the jig; so the fall was slower and the jig would ride up off the bottom.

It did a good job. Fish would hit it very hard. I think they thought it was a crawfish. Caught both largemouth and smallmouth on it. First you would rig the tube, then I would put some worm oil or scent on the twintail so it would be easier to get it in the tube.
