Title: New Grinnel bait
Post by: basscatlildave on 07/21/18 10:46 UTC
The Grinnel have been eating up a dark red worm lately according to my buddy's. I thought I'd play around a bit and make him some. He loved em so lets see about the fish. ;)

Pond grinned, dog fish, bowfin and many other names and expletives. Prehistoric looking. Heck of a fighter. Voracious and will tear up some hardware. Love them or hate them.

Nice hot red!

A good ole nasty swamp fish. Y'all should have em up there too. Grinnel , Bowfin , Cotton fish  choupique or Cypress Trout.
Yup....that is red.

They do put up a good fight

They love anything with a spinner and wire. SkitterPops have been a target too and these ugly fish raise all sorts of heck on an $8 topwater.
