Rain.....Easter
« on: 04/18/25 09:55 UTC »
We finally got a decent rain last night. About 1.1". We've been dry here.

Weds I tilled the garden and it worked up really nice the first go round so I planted my onion plants so this rain was very welcomed. Farmers are getting the corn in the ground so I'm sure those that got the rain appreciate it as well. The next week sounds like it could have more rain chances.

The rain ain't all that bad even if it keeps me off the water. I've been spraying the white under coats on crankbait blanks when the drips come along so I should be able to get a mess of them done in this next week. And when I tire of the airbrush I am getting caught up on the larger plastics for the summer season. And let's not forget about the jigs. There's always something to do, and that includes yardwork, so rain helps me justify my time in the shop. The rain also brings about a sense of renewal.

Speaking of renewal, here we are at Good Friday and Easter in a couple days. I'll just toss out a reminder for the reason of the season and a wish that all of you have a seriously Happy Easter, and stay safe in your endeavors whether at home or on the road for the holiday.

Happy Easter evryone!

We got three inches overnight.  More today and again during next week so we got plenty
I find it incredible that I have to explain to a grown American citizen that taking a knee during the National Anthem is disrespectful.
