Lol yeah they can grow big down here.  Was using a weedless 1/4 oz underspin with 3” slab slayer.

Those are some fine crapsters bud! It never ceases to amaze me how much larger the white crappie's mouth structures are between Minnesota's fish and those from further south.  Unreal.

I know they don't refer to large crappie as hawgs, but those are Hawgs. Nice job guys!

I refer to them as hawgs, slabs, donkeys, toads as well as a plethora of other names.  Lol. Had several at the 14-15ish” mark.

Them are some really nice.crappies. Every once an a while when we're trolling for walleye's we get them in the 15-16". It always amazed me the they can catch a #7 shad rap going 1.5 mph.
