Yard sale find

Well I've finally found a reel I gave up years ago and wish I hadn't!!  It's a Zebco Cardinal 3 in excellent shape!!

There ya go bud....what a great reel those were. My fishing buddy still uses the same reel only one size larger.

The  Zebco cardinal reels were one of the popular reels at the time.
Had a friend at the lake had a old Mitchell 300 still in the box and it had a Original price tag of $25 from the sporting good store.

308 and 408 Mitchells were my go to reels right along with the venerable old 300 back before those Cardinals became a thing.
