Sparky/Arky production molds?
« on: 04/21/23 17:27 UTC »
Anyone care to provide some insight to these molds?  I’ve pieced these production molds together over the past two years with the 1/8 oz. being the most recent and hardest to locate. My questions are am I still missing a 3/4 oz., and are these all Arky style jigs or do I have 3 Sparky and 1 Arky?
The pictures didn’t show very well. The 1/2oz; 3/8 oz; and 1/4 oz all call for a 410 hook while the 1/8oz takes a 570.

Sitting here staring at the molds the answer pretty much just smacked me in the face. It appears that the top 3 are sparky. Anyone know if they ever made 1/8oz sparky production?

I've never seen a production 1/8 oz Sparky, but that doesn't mean that Do It never made one.

I agree that the top 3 molds look like Sparkie molds.

I have one of those 1/8 oz Arky molds, one of the first molds I got. I really like that mold, and the jigs. I don't use them much now, but when I could fish some small streams for SM bass, they were a great little jig to have. I've dressed them with silicone, living rubber, marabou & hairs so a very versatile jig.

I was thinking the very same thing on the application of the 1/8oz.
