I have been fortunate enough to have fished more this year than ever before. Although I don’t have pictures of any wall hangers, I have tried different techniques and boated a many fish. One day I caught 101 crappie. If you haven’t tried vertical jigging metal jigs I highly recommend giving it a chance.

A few on the metal jig. I also hooked, fought, but lost a high 20’s/low 30” musky on one of those jigs pictured on a 8’ B&M crappie pole. It was an eventful few minutes to say the least until he tail danced and threw the hook.

Happy to see pictures of your success. Glad you got out more than ever. This year has been crazy for me, and I have not been able to get out much. Less this year than any before. My fault though, just took on way too many other projects. I have been making a lot of baits and flies for family and friends however. I plan to be caught up on house and yard projects before winter is over, so hopefully next year will be more free for fishing.

I like jigging lipless cranks to Tom. I picked up some blanks from across the pond to paint up. They are only 1/8oz though. Would be nice to find some 1/4oz to get down faster.

Did you get crappire thumb/  Nice. I'd like to catch a 101 myself.
