It gripes me that a guy can make a dynamite looking couple baits and then the camera's filtering takes away what was strived for. There are actually two different color shifters, one's on the backs f the left hand bunch and the other on the backs of the right hand troupe. Holding them in your hand they are something else.
As for the fishing, these have a lot of orange in the belly sections and sort of resemble young sunfish or perhaps a spawning perch, both crappie food in this lake. The spot being targeted is the first spot that crappies show up in at the spring melt. Last year a similar colored bait in the 2-1/4" Fry bait like these tore into the crappie population big time. Hoping for the same tomorrow.
