Now Im assuming you poured the first color in the mold and then quickly injected the second color? Do you pour the lighter color and inject the darker color?

Great looking colors, Fsh.  What mold is that?  I thought it was a Boss Hog at first, but I was wrong.
Until next time.

The mold is a single cavity Bears Brush Hog. I poured the first color and quickly inject the second. I fill the spru to about 1/4 in. from the top with the 1st. color. Which ever color you pour in,ends up to the back,or the tail end. Some I did with the light color first and some with the dark first. I think the most important thing is the choice of 2 colors that go good together. The darker colors are from scraps.I melted them down, tweaked them a little, than mixed up a lighter color to go with them.I thought the name Brush Fire was a great name for the reds. Not bad for a "green horn" hey! Started pouring about 3 months ago. fsh4fun.

How are you judging "1/4" full on the spru?

Will the color poured in first be the color at the end of the baits?

So you just pour some in the spru close to the top and then inject quick?

Yes,but I`ve tried it on other molds, and because of the way the bait was on its side with the spru up,it does n work, the colors are split from side to side, not top to bottom. Try it with some scraps or remelts and see what you get,but use  light and dark colors to experiment with. Hope this helps, post the results. fsh4fun.
