Getting ready for spring

There's no ice around here. So I started filling up my jig boxes for spring!

Nice looking ties.  The Crappie better look out.
Tying a jig or two is always relaxing for me.  Takes away some of the stress of the day.

The crappie's won't be able to let them pass by with out wrapping there lips around those jigs.

I'm a winter time hair jig guy then slack off of them as soon as the water temp is on the up swing. Those are very nice I really like the different shapes. I like hair to put scent on then soaks up better

As soon as the water temp hits about 50, I switch over to plastic.

I do plastic all year for crappies. Once in a great while I do some hair or feathers but not often. I use 1 1/2" - 2" plastic under the ice when I make it out, but then I don't target the masses, just active crappies..
