Essential Series Finesse Worm
« on: 11/06/15 14:24 UTC »
My mold finally came , I built a laminate plate . Sprayed the cavity with high heat engine paint . I will post more pics to this thread when I have time to shoot some more .

Here is a comparison pic before and after adding the high heat paint .

The worm on the bottom is the original finish . The top worm is after the mold has been modified . Basic Green Pumpkin Brown with Purple glitter .

Here is a laminate I ran last night , with my most productive worm this year . Oxblood and Peanut butter .

That turned out nice! I have one ES mold and I'm going to try the paint mod on it. If it turns out as nice as yours it will defiantly make me look at the ES molds a little more. Great looking baits!

What I did is cleaned the mold and painted it with glossy high heat engine paint both sides. Then took a pocket screwdriver and used it as a scraper and cleaned the vents out. Those guys took blue painters tape and taped both sides them took a razor blade and cut the tape off around the mold and then painted. I found that was more work then needed and my baits turn out fine.
