| Description: Got tired of not seeing any bucks in woods so I went fishing Thurs (12/6) and Fri. (12/7) Thurs nite sun peeked out a little and I was able to strip off the parka. Fri sucked with rain and wind, hands went numb. We still had almost 50 bass between the two days in 5 hrs of fishing total. Most were caught on custom mold I made plastics. Water temp was low 40's

| pjmcla | 12/10/12 18:44 UTC Boy you have the smallies figured out. I saw a show on the Susquehanna the other day. Wide and real shallow where this show was filmed. He was in a tunnel hull jet drive. |
| susquehannasean | 12/10/12 18:52 UTC Yes, I have a custom built jet boat with a tunnel and 3/4 inch plastic on bottom. We actually have a problem in the main stem of the river with lack of reproduction of spawn classes last couple of years. Coupled with poor water quality the fish commision has actually closed the river for 2 months during the spawn and the whole area is catch and release (approx 70 miles long). I fish with a couple of guys that are bona fide river rats. We fish 3-5 days a week and are catch rates are much better than average. Its so bad I'm not getting my guide license this year. |
