| Description: Now... I now you southern boys are going to laugh that I get all excited about my 20.5"...5+ lb largemouth....but they don't get a whole lot bigger up here!!! Caught on a craw swim jig with....what else....a watermelon/red flake Mad Dad 3XL !!!!! She was up on the surface.....eating injured bluegills left behind from the old guys fishing the docks. I tossed the jig at the swirl...twitched it twice and BAM !! Kind of strange since the water temp was 48 degrees....not exactly top water temperature! I honestly thought I had another Dogfish...she really put on a fight. I also landed 3 other largemouth over 4lbs (and a number of little ones) and a whole bunch of small to medium sized Northern Pike. I'm VERY pleased to still be out in the boat ...on Nov. 5th in Minnesota!!! Thanks Jason for the MadDad 3XL....that bait has caught more big bass (largemouth and smallmouth) for me ....
